The project aims to improve the health and quality of life condition of the female injecting drug users and reduce harmful injecting drug use and prevention of HIV/AIDS among female injecting drug users and their sexual partners through a comprehensive harm reduction approach and activities.
Specifically the project goals include the following:
1. Stop or reduce drug use.
2. Improve health, well being and social functioning of the affected individual.
3. Prevent future harms by decreasing the risk of complications and relapse.
4. Prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS and other blood borne diseases.
